Alin S. Tomoiaga, Ph.D. 09/2015 ~ 01/2017 After finishing postdoc training for 1.5 year in Chen lab, Alin became a tenure track Assistant Professor of Statistics at the Manhattan College. Before joining Chen lab, Alin graduated with a statistics PhD degree from Texas Tech University,

Dongyu Zhao, Ph.D. 10/2015 ~ 01/2021 Dongyu graduated with a PhD. in Genomics from Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. After spending five years in the lab, he became a Professor in the Beijing University (Peking University) to build his new lab.

Jie Lv, Ph.D. 11/2015 ~ 10/2020 Currently a Staff Scientist at St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Jie received a Ph.D. degree in Evolutionary Biology from Rice University. Jie quitted when the lab moved to Harvard and became a Bioinformatics Research Scientist at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Bo Xia, Ph.D. 11/2016 ~ 12/2019 Bo received a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Clemson University, and is a master in Computer Science at Georgia Tech. After staying in the lab for 3 years, Bo has to moved to Canada due to limitation of his Canadian Permanent Residency and later joined the Amazon.

Chongming Jiang, Ph.D. 7/2017 ~ 9/2019 Chongming received his Ph.D. degree from Sun Yat-sen University and he was a co-mentored bioinformatics postdoctoral researcher in the lab. Chongming is currently an Assistant Professor at the Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation

Yiwen Bu, Ph.D. 5/2018 ~ 04/2019 Yiwen was a PhD in Biology. After doing bioinformatics research in the lab for 1 year, she decided to persue a Master degree in Computer Sciences at Georgia Tech and later joined the Amazon.

Min Zhang, Ph.D. 8/2018 ~ 10/2020 Min received a Ph.D. degree in Cell Biology from the National Laboratory for Microscale Physical Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China. Min quitted when the lab moved to Harvard and is now a PI at the Zhejiang University.

Sen Zhu, Ph.D. 5/2019 ~ 10/2020 Sen received a Ph.D. degree in Biology from the Peking (Beijing) University. Sen quitted when the lab moved to Harvard and joined industry as a data scientist.

Shuo Zhang, Ph.D. 9/2019 ~ 09/2020 Shuo received a Ph.D. degree in Ecology and Evolutionary biology from the University of Houston. Shuo quitted when the lab moved to Harvard.

Guangyu Wang, Ph.D. 9/2017 ~ 5/2021 Guangyu received a Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics from the Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. After spending four years in the lab, he became an Assistant Professor at Houston Methodist Research Institute / Cornell University Weill Cornell Medical College to build his new lab.

Yanchun Zhang, Ph.D. 01/2020 ~ 01/2022 From the Nanjing University. Moved to New York for family reason.

Xin Wang, Ph.D. 12/2018 ~ 01/2023 From the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. Moved to Ohio State University for a faculty position.

Xinlei Gao, Ph.D. 01/2020 ~ 12/2023 From the University of Science and Technology of China. Moved to MIT for a faculty position.
